EFFECTS THAT STAY SHARP FROM POUR TO CURE
Most art epoxies are built for long open times and forgiving pours, which works fine for beginners, but often leads to over-blending, muddy colors, and flat results when you are trying to make waves crest, marble patterns hold, or lacing effects stay defined. Wave + Marble Art Epoxy Resin is built differently. The higher-viscosity formula gives your effects the body they need to hold structure and keep colors and layers in place.
At a 30 minute working time, this works better than thinner art resins to lock in your effects before over-movement sets in, so creative ideas come to life without worrying about colors bleeding into one another. Make the most of the working time by having your colors mixed, surface ready, and tools in hand before you combine the resin and hardener in a 1:1 ratio by volume.
CREATE EPOXY ART WITH TABLETOPS, PANELS, and MOLDS
Wave + Marble is a specialized resin, but it is not a one-trick formula. Beyond wave and marble epoxy art, it works as a high-gloss, durable surface coating for wood tabletops, bar tops, serving trays, and decorative panels where visual impact matters as much as protection. It also handles small silicone mold castings for pendants, cabochons, and small functional art pieces. Apply a thin seal coat first on porous surfaces, then flood coat up to 1/8" per layer. Recoat in 4-8 hours without sanding for layered depth builds all in the same session.
WORKS WITH YOUR FAVORITE PIGMENTS AND TECHNIQUES
After you mix the resin and hardener, separate into smaller containers and add alcohol inks, mica powder, or pigment dispersions before pouring. Pour directly into your mold or apply with brushes and plastic spreaders. Let the epoxy resin settle after the pour, then pop any bubbles or create lacing and wave effects using a heat gun or propane torch. For realistic ocean foam, spray acetone or denatured alcohol to recreate the effect and manipulate the surface. For marble effects, pour colors in organic streams, draw veining lines with a spreader or a gloved finger, and let the viscosity do the work of keeping patterns from over-blending.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
What is Wave + Marble art epoxy resin?
Wave + Marble is a two-component epoxy system (resin + hardener) designed specifically for creative applications like wave art, marbling, fluid pours, and decorative surface coatings. This is a specialist art resin — a high-viscosity formula built to hold structure, keep colors separated, and support techniques that rely on viscosity and working time. Unlike general-purpose tabletop epoxies or low-viscosity art resins, Wave + Marble is purpose-built for artists who need their effects to stay sharp from pour to cure. -
How can I use this resin in my projects?
Wave + Marble epoxy is a versatile formula that can be used to create a variety of artistic effects, coat table tops and other furniture for added durability and aesthetics, and pour into shallow molds to create resin forms, jewelry, and home decor. -
What can I use this epoxy formula on?
Wave + Marble works well on wood (tabletops, panels, trays), pre-made silicone molds, rigid flat surfaces on bar tops, tables, and countertops. It is not recommended for continuous outdoor UV exposure, as finishes may lose gloss or discolor over time. Delicate objects like photographs should be sealed first with polyurethane or an acrylic sealer before embedding. Always ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or contaminants — wipe with acetone or denatured alcohol before applying. -
What is Wave + Marble epoxy's coverage?
Wave + Marble Art Resin covers approximately 12 sq ft per mixed quart at 1/8" depth per flood coat. For a standard seal coat (thin first layer), coverage will be greater. Each coat can be applied up to 1/8" thick, and additional coats can be added every 4–8 hours without sanding. For larger surfaces like full tabletops or bar tops, multiple flood coats are typically needed to build up depth and visual effect.
