SILICONE MOLD DETAILS
- One-piece, leakproof construction – say goodbye to leaky joints!
- Sturdy, thick silicone walls help molds hold their shape during filling and after demolding.
- Premium silicone material is tough enough to stand up to repeated use.
- Flexibility makes it easy to demold your project.
- Molds are easy to clean with a mild soap and warm water.
- NOTE: For best results, and to prolong the life of your mold, we recommend a non-silicone based mold release agent. Apply a thin coat before each use, and allow to dry completely before filling the mold with mixed epoxy resin or TotalBoat Razzo.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
HOW DO YOU CLEAN THESE SILICONE MOLDS?
Before each use, clean the inside of the mold with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry completely. -
DO I NEED TO APPLY A MOLD RELEASE PRODUCT?
For best results, we recommend a non-silicone based mold release agent - apply a thin coat before each use, and allow to dry completely before filling the mold with mixed epoxy or TotalBoat Razzo. Mold release products come in aerosol form (e.g., Smooth-On Ease Release™ 200) and paste forms (e.g., Collinite Mold Release Paste). -
WILL A HEAT GUN DAMAGE THESE MOLDS?
Prolonged exposure to excessive heat will damage the silicone molds. You can use a heat gun to pop bubbles in your epoxy, but wave it back and forth quickly above the surface of the epoxy so you don't scorch the epoxy or damage the mold. -
HOW DO I REMOVE MY PIECE FROM THE MOLD?
To demold your cured piece, gently pull back the edge, working your hands around the inside edge. To release the piece, start on one side of the mold and peel gently. Work your way around the mold until the casting is completely free.
