BRING DAMAGED WOOD BACK TO LIFE
The TotalBoat Wood Restoration Kit repairs rotted, soft, or damaged wood by stabilizing what’s still solid and rebuilding what’s missing. Rather than cutting out and replacing, use this kit to seal bare wood, repair dry rot, and fill cracks and voids to restore trim, frames, windowsills, clapboards, and other woodwork. The epoxy cures hard and waterproof, preventing further damage from moisture, pests, and mold.
TWO-STEP EPOXY REPAIR SYSTEM
Start with Penetrating Epoxy that soaks deep into weakened wood fibers, hardens them, and seals them to prevent future moisture exposure. Even if the wood is new or bare, this formula can prevent problems before they even start by using as a sealer. Once cured, use FixWood epoxy filler. Start by combining the two FixWood components into a uniform tan putty. Then simply press and shape in place to fill gaps, cracks, and missing sections of wood.
The kit comes with instructions on how to use the epoxies together, along with essential supplies and tools to apply. Mix the Penetrating Epoxy in mixing cups with stir sticks, then use the spreader or syringes to neatly apply into the wood grain. If needed for the repair, the spreader can also be used to smooth out and apply Fixwood. And don't forget to wear gloves while you work!
EASY FOR DIY & PROFESSIONAL USE
Designed for home restoration and woodworking, this kit is ideal for those who would rather preserve existing wood than go through the hassle of replacing or losing the original look. This marine-grade epoxy system creates permanent repairs on interior or exterior wood. It's perfect for boats, docks, clapboards, paneling, trim, shutters, window sills, doors and door frames, cabinets, furniture and more.
With low VOCs, simple ratios, and all the tools you need in one place, even first-time epoxy users can take on wood repairs with confidence.
