Kevlar plain weave fabric is a lightweight reinforcement material ideal for protecting marine and woodworking components from impact, puncture, and abrasion. Made from aramid fibers in a 0/90° plain weave, this 5 oz. reinforcement fabric delivers consistent strength and dimensional stability while remaining thin and flexible. It's a smart choice for reinforcing kayak and canoe hulls, adding durability to wood-core composite panels, or improving abrasion resistance on skegs, rudders, or exposed trim. The tight plain weave allows for even wet-out with epoxy resin and helps prevent fraying during layup. Sold by the yard in 58" width, it's a reliable way to strengthen without adding bulk.
Aramid Fabric Details:

- Woven 0/90° pattern for strength and stability
- Wets out with epoxy using firm pressure for full saturation
- Use with TotalBoat High Performance 2:1 Epoxy Resin and Traditional 5:1 Marine Epoxy Resin
