Back in Lou Sauzedde’s Open Door Boatshop, we find Lou hard at work on his third video boatbuilding series. He’s attached the second layer of planking to his V-bottom skiff and now he can remove the temporary fasteners he used to clamp the layers of planking together. Once he planes it and smoothes it out, Lou can fill his same holes with the new bronze screws. He countersinks the new screws and then gives a lesson in using TotalFair to fill those holes. A quick sand later the bottom is looking clean and ready for some fiberglass and epoxy. Follow along and enjoy the sights and sounds that make boatbuilding with Lou such a delight.
