Hot To Get A Perfect TableTop Finish
Tabletop Epoxy Pro-Tips
- Controlling your environment ensures success! Make sure you're in a dust-free space, with low to no humidity, and the ambient temperature is about 70 degrees.
- Level your workspace. Grab a level and check top to bottom and left to right. If your surface isn't level, you'll see it in the final product!
- Pigments look great mixed with TableTop Epoxy, but remember it is always easier to add more, than to take anything away. Slowly add small amounts of dispersion pigment, mica powder, or alcohol ink to tint your epoxy and mix well.
- Before embedding keepsakes like paper, or dried flowers that may have air inside them remember to put a seal coat on your objects. It will ensure that no air can escape while your project is curing.
- Before tackling a tabletop remember to create a seal coat on the surface. This will keep air from escaping the wood while your tabletop coating is curing.
