As spring is closer to being sprung from the depths of an odd winter, the time to dust off the tools and pull back the boat cover has almost arrived. And with that comes the annual work-list of things that need some attention before launching. Typically every list includes bottom paint – and we have that covered with our full line of TotalBoat antifouling bottom paints. We will even have our knowledgeable staff on hand to help you select the right bottom paint for your boat, your harbor and your intended use. Touching up non-skid is always a good idea, as is filling and repairing any nicks or damage to your Gelcoat. For this – and more – we have a handy How-To section of this website – but nothing beats asking a pro in person. And if you can bring parts with you to help rectify an issue – all the better.
Perhaps the highlight of this year’s Tent Sale will be the presence of Lou Sauzedde, builder of the TotalBoat Work Skiff. Lou, filmmaker Halsey Fulton and the TotalBoat Work Skiff will be on site for the whole day answering questions and presumably signing autographs! Come meet Lou and get up close to the skiff we have been watching on YouTube since last summer. If you like Lou on video, wait til you meet him in person! He’s as much of a character as you might hope for!
Deals will abound with special pricing on *everything* and our clearance aisle will be filled to the brim with products we need out of the warehouses. Make us an offer on something from that aisle and run away with screaming deals in your basket.
The TotalBoat Tech Team will be out in force, wandering the tent and store to help shoppers find the parts and pieces needed to make your to-do lists a memory. Let them help you with your pressing how-to questions, with your “Which paint,” or “which hardener” questions. The team will be easily identifiable in matching TECH TEAM t-shirts, looking ready to help!
As a special event this year, we will also be having hourly raffles so be sure to find a raffle ticket while you shop so you can be entered to win one of the many prizes we have to give away.
